Ismaël Trépanier is a highly involved businessman in Nunavut, dedicated to the community. He has been living there for 15 years and is now the head of a mixed Franco-Inuit family. Ismaël is passionate about innovation, criminology, and police techniques. He is committed to the territory's ownership of security professions and advocates for the development of a local training school as well as a regulatory framework, a body of laws regulating security professions, which are currently conducted without any regulatory framework (a unique case in Canada). According to him, this leads to significant and observable abuses by all stakeholders or consumers of security services.

Denis Gélineau

Denis Gélineau specializes in long distance accounting providing a comprehensive range of services in the field of general accounting, bookkeeping, payroll and financial statements to entrepreneurs of small and medium size business, self-employed and non-profit organizations. His high technical skills and over 50 years of experience makes him an indispensable technical asset for the company's contract execution. After a career with the federal government as records and information management professional with over 30 years’ progressive experience specializing in developing data disposition strategies. Experienced supervisor, dynamic leader, effective facilitator, IM/RM Architect and Past-President of the ARMA-NCR (Ottawa) Chapter.

He is a tough yet compassionate individual, highly valued by his team for both his personal and professional traits.

Marie-Chantale Delaney
Executive Assistant
Marie-Chantale Delaney joined CANaps Inc. in January 2025 as Executive Assistant to the President and CEO. With a background in high-level administrative support and organizational management, she plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the executive office and broader company functions.
She oversees complex scheduling, manages confidential communications, and acts as the primary liaison between the executive leadership and internal teams, clients, and partners. Her responsibilities include coordinating strategic meetings, preparing critical reports and briefings, maintaining executive calendars, and ensuring all corporate priorities are executed efficiently and professionally. She also supports compliance tracking, file and document management, and the preparation of high-level presentations, proposals, and correspondence. She brings structure, discretion, and precision to her work, making her an integral asset to the operational and strategic growth of CANaps Inc.

Amy Gagnon
Director of Training and Recruitment
Amy Gagnon has over 10 years of experience in the Ottawa Provincial Police and several years leading the public communications department of the Ottawa Police. A career teacher, who also taught police techniques for eight (8) years at La Cité Collégiale, she is a highly skilled professional known for her technical mastery, pedagogical qualities, and infectious enthusiasm.
She has been working with CANaps since 2022, where she leads the recruitment program from Ottawa. Her access within the Ottawa police and police school allows for the creation of a recruit pool with Ex-Law Enforcement profiles or youth with experience. She also pilots the training program according to the directions set by the Executive Director.
